May the borg be with us.....

Found a lady that was selling Borg, by the roll.  I thought I could get a few metres from her... but I had to buy the whole thing... so.... ladies and gents... I have about 30 more yards for sale.

This is not vet-grade or hospital grade "imitation sheep wool" but it's of good quality.  It is great for beds for the dogs crates and whelping beds too.  Nice and warm, washable, and maintains it's shape with the nice knit backing.

It is 1/2 " thick.  Sold by the yard x 60" wide @ $9/yrd (3 feet).  Compared to the $30 for a 36"x36" square.... I think this is a steal!!!

This is quality Borg Pile from Borg Textiles in the States.  According to the woman who made over 20,000 children's hats and gloves over the course of 25 years (sells them at the North Gower market place and christmas craft shows)... this is really good quality Pile.

I see pups sleeping on this with no "heating" pad required.

Knit backing
Here we go again!
Rose is not happy about why we got the stuff.

Don't know how much shipping is on this stuff... but I would say more than the stuff is going to end up being for you... I can always bring them to shows and meet ya there!

If I lived closer to Ottawa, I would buy some borg from you. They used to make all grades of it near me (incl. hospital) but I believe the plant closed down a while back. Great stuff!! So easy to wash. Not just for whelping bitches.

Judy - you're right the plant closed down. It was made in my hometown Elmira and I stopped by the old factory today, it's all boarded up. They moved the manufacturing to China.
It washes great, I used it for my litters of puppies 20 some years ago. After washing and drying, take a slicker brush to it and comb it out!
