A painting we will go

The dog room is almost completed now.

Last week, I had painted the plywood in a dark sage colour, and ceilings in a cream.

On Thursday, after work, the top coat was done. Kim and I took to the sea sponges and went crazy (2hours) and did a reverse sponging technique with a lighter colour, on the walls to give the walls a feel of depth, texture, and almost "stone" like.

The results are delish!

Tomorrow I start to put up some stuff... will have pics for you then.

For now.... here is Kim and I in our "Thursday night bests".  Kim getting the highs and me getting the lows.....

Dinner is ready! Gotto to go.  Thanks Kim for helping me out.  I know my arm thanks you lots!!!

It was fun; never did sponge painting before. Can't wait to see the finished room.
