Big kids have the spirit of Christmas too!

My kids never seize to amaze me.

A week before Christmas, Brianna asked if we could attend Christmas Eve mass.  This is something I have not done with the kids before.  I don't know why, but... for whatever reasons.... Brianna wanted to go to mass - so off we went, while Tyler joined his girlfriend's family for Christmas Eve.

We had alot of laughs and smiles, while we watched and listened to a bunch of 4 / 5 year olds reinact the birth of Christ.  Their singing kept Brianna cracking up.  Brianna also noticed that alot of her school friends attended this little church as well, and the secretary of the school!!  We enjoyed it very much.

When we got home we had a few hors d'oevres before retiring to bed.  I of course by 9:00.

In the morning, we woke at 4:15 no sounds of kids to be heard?  hmmmm  they are always up before 4!

Eddie and I fed the dogs and put them out and then Eddie directed me to my kitchen Island where I found cookies/milk and a carrot, and this note!  I almost cried.

My husband then tells me that my boy had set this out last night... and low and behold (incase children are reading this) Santa drank some milk, ate some cookies and the reindeer had a nibble of carrot!

It was now about 5:15... still no kids.  What is a mother to do.  I ran around the house saying Ho Ho Ho!!!!  yup... the kids woke up!

Presents wait to be opened.

The 20 year old Stockings are filled!

Lots of presents under the tree

Even Puss Puss is under there!  This is where he chills out most days now.
