My son has turned 18. 18 PEOPLE!!!!18... and the little miss, my daughter is turning sweet 16 on the 20th of December...(looks like she is 21) and I'm at disbelief of where the years have gone. Reflection of good times is not always a good thing... I have broke down crying, while driving my car, on the bus, at work and well.... I'm doing it now.
Where has the time gone? Where are the 2 little kids who used to require stools to help me bake christmas cookies... they still love baking, but they TOWER over me now... and after baking, they don't sit around and watch them bake, they are off to their friends.... they are all soooo grown up, and quite frankly I feel ..... alone. **choke** yup ... alone. Who signed up for that?
He is working on a school project in his computer/media class - they are doing a nerdy video. Guess who's playing the role of nerd. Can't wait to see the video.
Today all 3 of us, after Tyler's TaeKwon Do Test (going for another red stripe on his belt), will be heading out to get our hair done - part of Christmas and Birthday gifts combined.. yes... even my son is getting colour by HIS hairdresser Darlene ... he is getting dark purple hightlights. I'll be taking pictures there... tee hee... ah yes, so I can cry reflecting on memories... LOL!!! I mean.. Boo hoo

Your children are a tribute to you and Eddie. You are great parents who have raised Bria and Tyler to have manners, to be respectful to others, to love animals and they will go far in life. Hugs to you. Can't wait to see your new hair-do's.
Kim

Aw Penny, it's a hard job being a Mom, but that's how you're supposed to feel when you've done everything right! Now pour yourself some "festive eggnogg", and enjoy those cookies!! :)
