Now her babies I'm sure have suffered a bit too, but now Mom and babies are bonding stronger than ever... pups are gaining weight and Portia is bright and cheery and clings to me like freakin' glue! A good glue!
I'm so happy she is getting better (knock on wood), the poor thing.

Hi Suzanne. I think Rose would be okay.... the two girls have been around eachother's puppies from day one without issues. Don't know - but I'm not at that stage yet. All the puppies seem to be on schedual for weight gain... they will definatly all meet the "double birth weight" in the "timeframe". I've been adament on keeping track on an Excel spread sheet. Some of my friends think I'm anal on how closely I watch my dogs. So all in all I'm not stressing anyone out at this point.

Hey Penny! Gosh, you & Portia have been thru the mill lately. X-ing my fingers she is on the mend & you get some deserved rest. Good thing dogs can't get this norovirus! It's hit this house real bad ... Mike, then me, then had to call in my mom for help, and aren't we now nursing her. You don't want it! Weird, my word verification for this post is swini!
