Too Tired for details..but we have another Champion in da house!

It's been a long hot (30+ celcius) sticky weekend. Temperatures of over 30 and I'm ready for bed. All I have the energy to tell you is that Miss Rosé, my fav out of the litter of BIS/BPIS Am/Can CH Shelhaven Alaris and CH Laureate Rachael Ray is now CH RUFFLEITH'S Rose In Bloom.

At the Thousand Island Kennel and Obedience Club Show Aug 14-16 (TIKO), Rosé (totally out of coat!) warmed up to a RWB on Saturday and then on Sunday August 16, under respected Judge Doug Windsor, Rosé needing 1 more point for her Canadian Championship, was awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex to give her 3 pts

Bitter Sweet Perserverance

Today at the Valley Kennel Club in Lombardy, perserverance to prove that I could get the final point on this girl came through with my girl L'Annie.

I scream at the top of my lungs.... She is now CH LAUREATE LANCOME taking Winner's Bitch for 3 pts. I DID IT!

TODAY I walk away from the ring, knowing that my efforts, persistance and determination only make me a stronger more knowlegable person. - TODAY is a start of a new chapter in my Sheltie life!

Remi at 13 months of Age

These pictures were taken on the very cloudy and windy day that Remi received his last points for his canadian Championship.

Although the grass was pretty long and it was really really windy, some descent pictures came out of the quick photo shoot. I'm going to have to get some better pics of all them soon.

We have our very First Home-Bred Champion

We are estatic to announce that Rémi is now Ch. Ruffleith's Remy Martin. He received his Canadian Championship this weekend at the Arnprior Show. Owner handled all weekend, with Brianna as the backup assistant, Remi received Winners Dog all weekend for a grand total of 5 more points and ended the weekend with Best of Opposite Sex. What a wonderful Mother's Day Gift indeed. This is our very first Champion in the Ruffleith Name. First Champion from a litter of 4 promising pups from Ch. Laureate Rachael Ray's first litter.

Portia went RWB today... We are so proud of her.

This was a great weekend to share with my Mother and my daughter.

Hubby and son made us a wonderful lasagna dinner.
